Well, as You may or may not know, on August 24th in Prague, about 2500 scientists have met to redefine space objects. I actually don't see the point of that, but hey, they are scientists right… It doesn't matter that we haven't explore seas that are here on Terra, but we need to redefine space for what we don't even know how big it is… (more…)

Regarding my previous post about 2003 UB313 (there is no way I call it Xena) and beloved Pluto. Here is how I look at issue.
Pluto was discovered about 70 and some years ago, in 1930. Since then no bigger object wasn't discovered. So, astronomers were sitting one night, drinking beer, eating microwave pizza. During that night, some of them were playing with telescope, you know like Bart Simpson when he discovered comet that will hit Springfield, and suddenly … BAM Xena pops in! Wow, it so far away that we can get only picture of blurred squares. But since its so far away, it must have been big. "Is it bigger than Pluto?" someone from the crowd asked. Yes, its bigger, so we have found biggest cosmic object since discovery of Pluto! Yeeeha… Let's call it a planet. Yes, but then we will have 10 planets, and we "agreed" that it can be only less than 10 planets in Sol, since it will need changing of our database field so 2 digits can fit (something like stupid W2K bug that went pretty well if You asked me, but that's different topic). Ah, yes… well, lets dump Pluto, and call it a day.

And that's the whole story. I mean, what kind of person You have to be to question status of the planet ??? Not nice if You ask me, and lets hope that Pluto cannot defend himself, or we will be in deep trouble, no matter how small it is  

As You all might know, Sol system contains 9 planets. Last one discovered was Pluto. For comparison, Pluto is even smaller that Moon. So its not big planet. Now, some people called astronomers, recently, in 2003 discovered another planet in Sol system. (more…)

Last night I saw a shooting star. That actually remind me of an "old" days, when I was much younger, and great happiness when I saw shooting star. Back then, I remember that I was very happy when it happened, though I have feeling that then it was much often than now. Maybe its because back then I had less worries to think about so more time is left for examining nature… Or could it be because back then I didn't take for granted when nature "speaks"… Anyway, the thing is that last night I just thinking "huh, shooting star", and back then it would be more like "wow, did you see that, shooting star". Where that energy goes? When did I became so indifferent? Well, that probably goes with years, and we often said that it is actually wisdom and not indifference. I mean, who are we fooling? I didn't think that even kids believe us. So, that reminds me that back then I would probably wished for something, since it is common thing to do when You see shooting star. Back then, it would probably be some, from current point of view that changed through years, some silly thing, like "more wishes, to some girl fall in love with me, new pair of sneakers" or something alike, but what to wish now, from THIS point of view?

Last night I saw a shooting star… and I made a wish, altought it sounded silly, but I wished for best in life for my little son… suddenly it wasn't so silly after all…

Do you also have moments when you wish to be alone? Well I certainly do. So, few days ago, I was thinking of going to park near my office, have a coke in can, sit on the wooden bench, and just let my minds wander around. So, I got my coke, ciggies, and went to the park. I sat on the bench, opened can with well known "swooosh" sound, and started to think about actually nothing… (more…)

The sparrow was happy as can be. singing on the three, and enjoying sun. He was so happy that he didn't even noticed that winter came to the woods. When he finally noticed, it was too late. Freezing almost to death, he fell from the tree into the snow, waiting inevitable sleeping death.

Shortly after, when his last breath almost vanished, cow was passing by. As any cow, it didn't matter where to unload its droppings. Eventually, the dropping fell on the sparrow,  instantly warming it up.

Sparrow, never been happier since he escaped certain death, stand up and start singing again as ode to new beginning.

Not far from there, a cat was passing by looking for food. As soon as it heard singing, she decided to check what is going on. Eventually, she saws sparrow singing, and ignoring droppings around it, jumped and in swift move ate sparrow! With full stomach, she turned around and went off to the forest…

LESSON:
1. Not everybody that shit on you are your enemies!
2. Not everybody that pulls you out from shit are your friends!
3. … and even when you are in shit, keep your mouth shut!

Just a small entry to show off my Photoshop skills… This is image (original is much bigger than this) that I have retouched in Adobe Photoshop. Makeup is maybe little stronger than it should be but still I think its pretty good result. I actually don't know who is creator of this image, so I cannot give proper credits for it but I hope author would not mind…

The question that crosses my mind is, would it be harder to remove or apply makeup on this beauty? What do You think?

Long time ago, there was one king. He was wealthy and prominent, but his daughter was very ill. After a long search for cure, and many doctors that shake their heads, he decided to go to village doctor.
